Gold dredging operation on North Fork of FortyMile river in Alaska

The hovercraft is a 16 x 8 sevtec surveyor model and was built over the winter of 2022-2023
Also, included with the HOV is a Top Hat 18 foot flat bed trailer purchased New in Jan 2023.
Trailer has 2 wheel electric brakes and comes with two brand new spare tires.
As with all the hovercraft on the 40 mile it is a homemade machine.
It has a 24hp Briggs lift engine and a 31hp pusher engine with a 12 gallon gas tank and gets around 9+ mpg.
There is a seperate tach for each engine and a GPS speedometer.
All the spare parts I have as well as "some" tools are included.
In addition to the blades already on the HOV is an extra set of blades ($1,100 value)
I have never loaded it to max capacity but I regularly haul 700 lbs payload which is in addition to these other items I always carry:
- me (200 lb)
- 12 gallons fuel (100 lb)
- rifle/hand gun (15 lb)
- tools (20lb)
- spare parts (10lb)
- emergency food/water (10 lb)

It has proven over the last three years to be a very dependable craft.
Included with the trailer is a cradle that the HOV sits on when it is on the trailer and is used to get the HOV both on and off the trailer.
Although it has proven to be a good craft it does require maintainence as well as some training on how to drive it so that you are less likely to crash it.
I will provide up to 1 day of training to teach you how to drive this HOV.
I do have the title for this and will transfer to new owners name after full payment is made.
A few notes:
- When cleaning out the Hov, be sure to pan out the sand you find. (I do it and I always find a little gold)
- Although this HOV is capable of much faster speeds, I keep the speed on the HOV to 18-22 mph.

If not now when

Hov sitting on shore at our river camp on the North Fork.
I use the HOV to commute to/from camp and to where ever the current dredge site is as well as for getting things to/from Chicken

One of the lighter loads
The heaviest load I did in 2024 was just short of 1,100 lbs. (total of me plus everything else)

You can easily load the HOV with stuff if you decide to bring it back from Alaska.
Note: The 18 foot flat bed is included.
Also included is a cradle that the HOV sits on when it is on the trailer.

You may see different versions of the HOV in other pictures of this offer.
This is because the HOV included in this offer is the 2nd HOV I've built.
Below is the old one (left side. It was sold in 2023) and the one included in this offer is on the right side
